Position Overview:
As a Patient Field Clinician at Valor Medical Solutions, you will be directly involved in providing exceptional care and support to our patients within their homes or other care settings. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Deliver high-quality care to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
- Provide basic medical care under the guidance and supervision of medical professionals.
Equipment Handling:
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot medical equipment used in patient care.
- Ensure the safe transfer and positioning of patients using appropriate lifting techniques.
- Transport necessary equipment and materials to patient locations.
Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain open lines of communication with patients and their families about care processes and any concerns.
- Document patient interactions, observations, and any potential health issues.
- Liaise with the broader medical team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
Continuous Learning:
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and seminars to stay informed about best practices in patient care.
- Adopt and implement new care techniques and protocols as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No prior experience required, but experience in caregiving or healthcare is a plus.
- Must possess a genuine servant's heart with a commitment to providing compassionate care.
- Ability to lift and handle more than 40 pounds safely.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new care techniques and protocols.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on the nature of visits.
